As a passenger experience analyst, you will be:
- Interpreting passenger feedback data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
- Using passenger experience stories and benchmarks to develop programs that have a strong impact on passenger positive experience and commuting delight
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases to enrich current core information from passenger experiences (e.g. weather, traffic)
Responsibilities
- Interpreting passenger feedback data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Using passenger experience stories and benchmarks to develop programs that have a strong impact on passenger positive experience and commuting delight
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel pivot tables)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to learn new platforms (e.g. Metabase) that are core to the organization’s data offerings
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
